Kuzhalappam is a delicacy of the Kerala people,  which is  typical kerala Christian dish.  Even though this is a traditional snack  of Christian community, it is used by all communities as a main snack of celebrations, especially in engagement parties and marriage parties. It is a fried crisp curled up like a tube snack food.

In the evenings, the Kuzhalappam are usually prepared for chewing with  tea and coffee . Tubes are made with or without sweeteners. Our Kuzhalappam is salty and spicy. It is in light brown colour ornamented with black Sesame seeds. A single piece of kuzhalappam is enough for your hunger but you can’t stop eating kuzhalappam  because of its crunchiness and flavour.
